James didn t send a text message to welcome Ayton? Fry and Jefferson: He didn t send us either 🤣
Recently, former NBA player Kendrick Perkins participated in the "Road Tripping" podcast and talked about the Lakers' new aid Ayton who had previously said that James did not send him a text message to welcome him. The podcast is hosted by Richard Jefferson and Channing Fry.
Perkins: "He doesn't need it. Why does he have to contact Ayton on his own initiative?"
Fry: "When I was traded, he didn't send me a text message!"
Jefferson: "He didn't send me either!"
Jefferson recalled a conversation with James before Fry joined the Cavaliers in 2016. "LeBron asked me the day before the deal, 'Hey Richard, how do you think of Channing Fry?' I replied, 'You will definitely hate him and love him. Let's see.'"
