The relationship between Washington and his ex-wife Renner was released in 2020. Shortly after the child was born in May 2021, Renner filed for divorce and successfully obtained custody of the child. Washington reportedly pays Renner $200,000 in child support every month until their child is 18 years old, a total of $43.2 million. Previously, there was a fierce quarrel between the two sides when they picked up their children in Washington.

Potter Jr. was recently a guest on the podcast program "Respectfully", during which he talked about PJ-Washington ex-wife Renner being a guest on his podcast program.
