Beibei: Coach Messi? I m just trying to be his teammate; I have to choose me to coach England

Beckham talked about a series of topics about coaching in an interview with CBS recently.

Which team do you want to coach the most?

"The only team I can think of as a head coach is England, but it may take me ten years to get to that position. I don't want to 'airdrop' into this role because I think it's disrespectful to coaches who have been doing this for a long time and deserve it.

"I appreciate the way Southgate develops players systematically, and one of the reasons why this team is doing well under his hands is that he has coached the players since they were young, that is, under the age of 21. The players trust Southgate, like his way of working, and also like his gentle management. And Southgate successfully united the entire nation while the team was in a difficult time. He was recently awarded the Jazz title, an honor he deserves for his great contribution to our country, national team and fans.

"In my opinion, our fans are the best in the world. But there was a time when Wembley Stadium was empty, which was heartbreaking because in the past, the stadium was always full no matter which team we played against. Our fans were eager to come and support, but sometimes things didn't work as they wished. It was not until Southgate led the team back to the top that the fans regained that pride and joy."

You had the opportunity to join Manchester United, AC Milan, Los Angeles Galaxy or Real Madrid's coaching team.

"To be honest, I never thought of becoming a coach. What I really love is coaching the kids in the youth training camp, and that's what I'm willing to devote to passionate work. I really didn't think about being a head coach, especially at this level. I think I should be a good coach, but I'm not sure. I do have football knowledge, but I haven't been a coach yet."

The senior FA once regarded you as the future head coach of the national team.

"At that time, we had just returned from the World Cup in Germany. On the plane, a FA came over and said to me, 'Go and take the coaching license, we hope you can take over the England team in the future.'"

Your friend Henry led the French team to win the silver medal at the Paris Olympics.

"I admire his work in the Olympics, and it's so fun to see him achieve such brilliant results. It was an exciting and amazing moment to transform from a great player to a national head coach and achieve excellent results in the Olympics."

Will you coach Miami International and Messi?

"I just want to be teammates with him, I really don't want to be Messi's coach. I'm even afraid to be Messi's coach. To be honest, you want me to tell Messi how to play? Are you teasing me?"
