Eindhoven recently signed the Czech national goalkeeper Koval from Leverkusen on loan. According to Czech media Blesk, as long as Eindhoven does not relegate this season, he will buy out the goalkeeper.

The media said the transfer process was a bit complicated at one time because Koval's former club Manchester United had a priority match right, so even if Leverkusen and Eindhoven reached an agreement, the Czech goalkeeper still had to wait for Manchester United's official approval.

In the end, this problem was solved. Koval joined Eindhoven on loan, with a one-year contract and a buyout option. Blesk News said that in this regard, it should be just a form, and Kovaz is almost certain to become an official player of Eindhoven in a year, because the prerequisite for activating the buyout option should be: Eindhoven can stay in the top league.

It is also reported that Eindhoven paid a transfer fee of 5 million euros for the Czech goalkeeper, and a potential bonus of up to 2 million euros.

Regarding joining Eindhoven, Koval himself said: "This has been delayed for nearly two weeks, and I am glad that the two clubs finally reached an agreement. My first impression of this is great. We have a lot of offers, but Eindhoven is the one that touched us the most."

Koval: "Leverkusen is no longer an option for me - the club has introduced new goalkeepers, and I explicitly hope to play. I believe there is an ideal opportunity in Eindhoven."

In Eindhoven, Koval should play the role of No. 1 goalkeeper and help the team strive for a third consecutive championship, and he has a chance to make a debut in the Champions League. As for the pressure and expectations of the fans, Koval said: "It's not so nervous, but rather exciting."

Eindhoven will take the new goalkeeper to Germany's training camp this summer, and they will play a game against Stuttgart on Saturday. The first official match of Kovaz will be held in early August.
