Eberl: There is no obstacle to renewing my contract with Bayern. It is a pleasure to work with Freund.

In an interview, Bayern director Eberl talked about cooperation with sports director Freund and his personal future contract issues.

Q: How do you feel now after experiencing the emotional turbulence of Xia Chuang?

Eber: Even though we had a very emotional summer, I feel very comfortable at Bayern. We made really, really good decisions together.

Q: The team is currently on a 12-game winning streak. Does this bring you a sense of satisfaction?

Ebel: I don't feel satisfied. More joy because what we decided is working.

Q: What are your and Mr. Freund’s goals?

Eber: Freund and I hope to lead Bayern back to a certain extent on a path that everyone can agree on, whether it is as a coach, as a club, or regarding the lineup, players and youth academy.

Q: Both your contract and Mr. Freund’s contract will expire in 2027. Are you considering renewing your contract?

Ebel: Regarding my contract renewal, I have no comment. It was a pleasure working with Freund. For me, there is no obstacle to renewing the contract.

Q: So when will the club discuss your contract extension?

Ebel: We have some other tasks. The better we get at solving these tasks, maybe at some point this issue will be on the agenda.
