Nagelsmann: Sane was called up for his outstanding performance in the Turkish Super League and Champions League
German winger Sane, who moved to Galatasaray this summer, was selected into the current German team roster. German team coach Nagelsmann said that the player was called up based on his outstanding performance.
Regarding Sane being called up, Nagelsmann said: "I have maintained very good communication with Sane. With his outstanding performance in the Champions League and Turkish Super League, he has earned the qualification to be selected this time."
After joining Galatasaray, Sane was not called up by Nagelsmann in the first two national team match days this season. So far this season, Sane has contributed 3 goals and 1 assist in 11 appearances in Tuscany, and 2 assists in 3 appearances in the Champions League.
