Official: Leipzig signs Eindhoven winger Bakayoko, with a total transfer fee of 22 million euros
On Wednesday local time, RB Leipzig officially announced the signing of winger Bakayoko from Eindhoven.
Leipzig official said that the club signed Belgian international Baccaryoko, the 22-year-old offensive player signed a contract with RB Leipzig until June 2030, and he will wear the No. 9 jersey.
Bakayoko has received youth training in Anderlecht, Bruges and other teams, and joined Eindhoven's youth training camp in 2019. He played for the first team three years later, playing in a total of 89 Eredivisie games (26 goals/15 assists). In addition, Baccayoko has accumulated experience in international competitions in the Champions League (20 appearances/3 goals) and the Belgian national team (18 appearances/1 goal).
According to previous media reports, his transfer fee is 18 million euros fixed transfer fee + 4 million euros floating bonus.
