Reporter: Newcastle offers £65.5 million for Cesco, PIF officials participate in club transfer
According to Lee Ryde, PIF (Saudi Public Investment Fund) officials are involved in the Newcastle transfer operation.
Lee Ryde pointed out that Newcastle coach Eddie Howe said during the Asian tour that Leipzig striker Sesco was his key recruitment target. Two PIF officials are working closely with club management in hotels in Seoul to respond to Saudi Arabia's position on the recruitment target at any time.
Newcastle offers £65.5 million for Cesco, but introducing Cesco does not necessarily mean that Isaac will transfer to Liverpool. Eddie Howe admitted that he hopes to retain the Swedish striker.
PIF and club owners both realize that Newcastle is at risk of being surpassed, and they hope that the club can maintain a stable position in the top five in the Premier League.
