I won't exaggerate, if I were still a player, I would be happy to participate in such a competition. Of course, due to the Club World Cup, there are more competitions in the 24-25 season, but this event is only held every four years. I think it's a lot of players (along with their agents) that contributed to this situation, setting traps for themselves, they demanded constant salary increase, which forces clubs to seek additional sources of income, which is why new formats of events keep emerging, and on the other hand, I hardly see their willingness to give up part of their salary. This is a contradiction that should be clearly pointed out.
