TA: Newcastle promotes negotiations on leasing Frajodi Moss to Seve, who seeks a pure lease deal

TA reported that Newcastle is advancing negotiations to loan goalkeeper Flajodi Mos to Sevilla, with a loan period of 2025-2026 season.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper joined Newcastle from Nottingham Forest last summer for a transfer fee of £20 million, and Elliot Anderson transferred from Newcastle to Nottingham Forest, which were concluded because Newcastle urgently needs to follow the Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) by June 30, 2024.

Flajodi Mos was not Newcastle's signing target at first, and the player was not within the plan of head coach Eddie Howe. In the 24-25 season, the player only made a substitute in the League Cup against AFC Wimbledon.

Sevilla seeks to sign the goalkeeper on pure loan, without any buyout terms, and Newcastle will bear most of the player's salary.

Despite Dubluffka leaving for Burnley, Newcastle is hoping to find a temporary place for Flajodi Moss in the upcoming season after joining the team on loan at Ramsdale.

Ramsdale will compete with Pope for the starting goalkeeper position of Newcastle, and John Rudy and Gillesby will provide more support for Newcastle, who will return to the Champions League.
