The total is enough to buy someone😅Tudor: Juventus still needs to give Tudor + Motta a total salary of 24 million euros

Football

Yesterday, Juventus officially announced the dismissal of coach Tudor. The Croatian only led the team for 7 months and 4 days before he was dismissed due to the dismal record. The team's former coach Motta also only coached for less than 9 months. "Turin Sports" calculated an economic account: Juventus will still pay a lot of money for these two coaches, and the remaining contract value of the two totals about 24 million euros.

Before officially appointing a new coach, Juventus will pay the salaries of three first-team coaches at the same time. This is a financial "bloodbath" for the club, especially for a club that aims to break even before 2027 - although the funds brought by the capital increase have been included in the books, the costs of various coaching staff have begun to become quite heavy.

Tudor's contract originally lasted until June 30, 2027. The team paid him a salary of 5.5 million euros per year, so the amount of his remaining contract is estimated to be about 8 million euros. Juventus will have to pay the money anyway, unless Tudor can find a new club outside Italy in the next few weeks - a possibility that is not entirely impossible, but currently seems slim.

This fee must be added to the amount Juventus must pay to Motta. He also signed a contract with Juventus that expires in June 2027: an annual salary of approximately 5.5 million euros, plus a salary of approximately 2 million euros for his coaching staff. Therefore, a rough calculation shows that Juventus needs to spend another 16 million euros for Motta, but this amount has been listed as a provision in the previous financial statement.

For Motta, the situation is similar to Tudor: Juventus "hopes" that at least one of them, or even both of them, can find another job in the short term. This season, Motta has rejected invitations from many teams, including Real Sociedad, Monaco, Pharmaceuticals, and this summer's test from Atlanta - they finally decided to bet on Juric.

Tudor joined Juventus in the second half of last season to help the club qualify for the Champions League. At that time, he only signed a short-term contract until the end of the Club World Cup.

Before the Club World Cup in June this year, Tudor publicly stated that he hoped to determine his future before leading the team in the Club World Cup. So Juventus renewed his contract until 2027, and his salary increased from the previous half-year of 500,000 euros to an annual salary of 2.5 million euros.

Juventus has terminated Tudor's contract just over four months after the contract was renewed, but it still needs to pay all his salary until 2027. Coupled with Motta, Juventus is currently paying the salaries of two head coaches. This is why Juventus can only offer short-term contracts when hiring its next coach, because the club cannot accept the long-term payment of the salaries of three head coaches.
