World Sports: The next few days will be the key to returning to the Camp Nou, and Barcelona has obtained permission from the stands and south goal area

World Sports reported that the Barcelona club is working hard to reopen the Camp Nou in the league against Valencia on the weekend of September 13-14.

This Monday, club representatives met with the city government and will continue to make every effort to advance Plan A, the long-awaited home return, and they hope to receive about 27,000 spectators by then.

In fact, on Monday, RAC1 radio reported that Barcelona had received the final certification of engineering (CFO) in the stands and the South Goal area, as architects, engineering directors and contractor Limak have signed recognition for these remodeled areas. However, club sources said the matter has not been finalized. The station also pointed out that city members will come to inspect the works on Tuesday to ensure they meet all requirements so that they can apply for a permit for the first time use of the stadium, which is a necessary condition for allowing fans to enter.

In addition, Japan will hold a UEFA group draw ceremony on Thursday on August 28, and Barcelona will need to confirm with UEFA that the team's playing field will be held during the start of the game until mid-February next year (i.e. the play-off stage before the knockout round). It is worth noting that UEFA requires the opening of the wing zone to meet the demand for television broadcasts, and in the first phase of the stadium’s reopening, only the stands and the South goal area will be activated.

Two alternatives If Barcelona fails to obtain the permission needed to return to home in time, the club is also considering the possibility of playing at two different venues: the La Liga is held at the Camp Nou Stadium and the Champions League is moved to the Lluís Companys Stadium. However, because there was a concert on the Friday before Valencia's visit, the league could not be held at the venue.

Previously, Barcelona had been granted permission from the city to use the venue before the Montphic race until February, as there were no other scheduled concert events after that until May.

City sources also acknowledged the possibility that Barcelona might return to Montphic, but stressed that this is still option B for the moment. Barcelona is still pushing forward with Plan A, and the next few days will be a critical moment to decide whether to successfully return to Camp Nou.
