A sudden outbreak! 76ers official: McCain suffered a torn collateral ligament of his right thumb during training today

Basketball

According to ESPN reporter Tim Bontemps, sources revealed that Philadelphia 76ers defender and last year's No. 16 pick Jared McCain suffered a torn collateral ligament on his right thumb during training today, and the 76ers then officially confirmed the news.

Sources said McCain and the team are working with medical experts to determine the next treatment plan.

In January this year, McCain suffered a meniscus tear on his left knee during the game and then underwent surgery and was reimbursed for the season.

He played 23 games in his rookie season, averaging 25.7 minutes per game, scoring 15.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 0.7 steals. He has been ranked first in many rookie lists and was originally the best rookie favorite.
