Recently, the basketball podcast "Court Brain" owned by Lakers star James aired the first episode of the third season. James talked about many topics with the host Nash.

James said his role in his rookie season with the Cavaliers felt "weird," saying: "I was like, this isn't winning basketball. I know what winning basketball is. People say, 'That's the transition from high school to the pros.' But good basketball and winning basketball -- it's the same at any level... So when I got to the NBA, I felt very out of place. I thought, 'You have to do all the plays? A guy who gets the ball and just doesn't pass it?' I was like, ‘What the hell is this? This is really a culture shock. ’”

In the 2003-04 season, James averaged 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game in the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers failed to reach the playoffs with 35 wins and 47 losses.
