Motel talks about the way to survive in the NBA: You must have a skill unless it is a super giant like Harden &KD

Recently, former NBA and CBA player Motie Yunas was a guest on a podcast program, and during which he talked about his way of survival in the NBA.

Motai said that good NBA teams often like to choose some potential players to train them, and he was such a player at that time. However, he soon realized that the competition around him was much more intense than the European League, and his skills were no longer used as frequently as before.

"When I came to the United States, the same was true. You were nothing, and they didn't care about that. They had their own James Harden, Westbrook and Durant. You know? But these are not the roles you want to play," Motel said.

Motel then thought that players who are not superstars had to find something better than others to succeed in the NBA, saying: "You have to figure out what kind of player you want to be. It's the crazy part. If you have one thing that does better than others, you will have a long and brilliant career in the NBA. You just need to aim for that one thing."

Motel was able to play both power forwards and centers at the time, and he could shoot, but that didn't last long. In the end, the former Europa League star played only six NBA seasons.

The 34-year-old Motel has one season left on Monaco's contract, but he is not in Spanoris's new season plan, and the player is actively seeking to show his effectiveness elsewhere.
