Elwin Carstenson is a close confidant of Bayern sports director Ebert. The two met as early as Ebert as manager of Borussia Mönchengladbach. From 2016 to June 2021, Carstenson was responsible for the nutrition of first-team players in Borussia Mönchengladbach.
