Falk: Agent says Nkunku will stay at Chelsea for another year, but he himself wants to go to Bayern

Reporter Falk reported on Nkunku's latest transfer trends, and Bayern may miss the signing. Agent Zahavi told Bayern that Nkunku will play for another year at Chelsea.

Despite signing Dias from Liverpool, Bayern still hopes to buy another high-level winger to fill the vacancy after Koeman left the team. Bayern has long been interested in Nkunku, and sports director Ebert knows him very well. Bayern wanted to sign Nkunku in January this year, but they were unwilling to meet Chelsea's asking price.

Bayern has negotiated a deal with Chelsea for Nkunku, but it is unlikely to reach an agreement at present. Falke revealed that Nkunku's agent Zahavi met with senior Blues in Chelsea's game against Crystal Palace. Zahavi then told Bayern that Nkunku's contract will expire in 2029 and he will play in the Blues for another year. However, Falk also said that the transfer is still possible because Nkunku himself hopes to join Bayern.

Bayern hopes to introduce French striker on loan, but Chelsea tends to trade permanently. Chelsea reportedly was willing to sell Nkunku for about £35 million + additional terms, while Pretenberg claimed that Bayern had reached an agreement with Nkunku on personal terms.

Chelsea played against Crystal Palace at home in the first round of the Premier League, and Nkunku was not included in the roster. Last season, Nkunku only started nine times in the Premier League. With the arrival of several new players and the potential transfers of Garnacho and Simmons, Nkunku is expected to have fewer opportunities to play this season.

Currently, Chelsea hopes to sign Xavi Simmons, and if Nkunku leaves, Simmons may join. Meanwhile, the Blues are seeking to sell some out-of-favor players such as Sterling, Chilville and Vega.
