Nico Williams vandalised mural restorer: I want to pay tribute to the team that won the championship

A few days ago, Nico Williams's vandalized mural restorers were a guest on the "Match Time".

This Friday, the Bilbao Club, along with Inaghi Williams, Unai Nunes and Unai Gomez shared the restoration of the mural by street artist Carlos Lopez on social media. The mural was damaged by graffiti a week ago, last Saturday, June 21.

The mural has been restored again now. In the "Match Time", Paco Gonzalez talks with the mural restorer Carlos Lopez.

Carlos Lopez said: "I finally had a rest. The first time (fixed) was much more difficult because it was completely repainted, it was complicated because it was difficult to re-align the image. The repair was proposed to me by Club Bilbao, and this time it was very simple because I applied the anti-graffiti coating. Just clean it up."

Paco Gonzalez reminded him that maybe he had to do another fix.

Carlos Lopez said: "I'm relieved because it's easy to clean with just one protective coating, so applying two layers is a piece of cake."

"When you finish a piece that you want to make and see it welcome, you feel responsible for those who appreciate it. The idea is to pay tribute to the team that won the championship. There are many very beautiful stories and very important characters. I hope I can draw everyone in it."
