According to German media Biography, the German U21 bus suffered two accidents.

After the semi-finals against France's U21, a bizarre scene happened: a VIP female receptionist rushed into the German U21 bus without warning. He passed directly over a policeman equipped with a submachine gun and four security personnel who had lined up at the entrance of the bus. No one stopped her, and then she took a photo of the inside of the bus.

A female boss of the female receptionist claimed: "The German player stole about 15 beer glasses. They probably thought everything was free, but it was not. That's why my staff rushed into the bus. She wanted to take photos of the evidence."

In response, German U21 spokesman Max Bill clarified: "It's not that way. The woman brought several beer glasses to the player's passage, probably for the referee. Later, some empty cups were left there and suddenly disappeared. Some people must have cleaned them up. She obviously thought it was our player who took them away, but it was definitely not the case." After the final, German U21 was shocked again. After losing against England U21, the young internationals of Germany U21 were extremely depressed, and everyone just wanted to return to the hotel as soon as possible.

Around 1:25 am, all the players were on the bus and ready to drive away from the stadium, but the car didn't go far. After driving for only a few meters, it made a loud bang. A railing suddenly fell unexpectedly, slamming on the German bus, stuck between the windshield and the rearview mirror. The driver of the Slovak company drove back and forth several times in panic, and then the railing was loose and the bus continued to drive with some scratches. The railings were completely scrapped after the collision.
