Weah: Marseille is 2 points behind PSG in Ligue 1. What do you mean by "falling into a comprehensive crisis"?

Football

Marseille forward Timothy Weah was interviewed recently and talked about the team's recent poor performance. He believed that this was not a crisis moment.

Marseille is currently ranked second in Ligue 1, behind Paris Saint-Germain, but the team is going through a difficult period, having suffered three defeats in the past five games.

Timothy Weah responded to criticism at the team's pre-match press conference against Brest: "I read the statement that the team is in a full-scale crisis. I really can't understand it. We are not ranked tenth, but only two points behind Paris."

"We have a good team. Although we are not showing our best form at this stage, ups and downs are normal and not the end of the world. We are only two points behind Paris and need to self-reflect, take responsibility and improve our level. There is no need to be overly reflective. Yes, winning or losing is a matter of course, but we should not be overly frustrated."

"We are deeply disappointed with the result of the Atlanta game, but we cannot change it and can only move on. It is regrettable that we missed the penalty kick, but we must take responsibility because of the ball. The team did not perform well."

"Pressure? No surprise. I have played for big clubs like Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Celtic, and things always get crazy when they lose, but players should not be affected by this."
