As of Friday, FC Barcelona has not received any official notification from the Barcelona City Council regarding the granting of its 1B license, which would allow matches to be played in Campno. According to Mundo Deportivo, the city government has all the documents needed to apply for the 1B license, which would allow the use of side stands and increase the number of spectators currently allowed from 27,000 (under the 1A license) to 45,000.

Barcelona has not ruled out the possibility of approval on Monday, which is also the deadline for the Camp Nou stadium to host the game against Bilbao. Preparation and ticket sales will take at least a week. If the city doesn't give the go-ahead by Monday, the club will focus on trying to secure the Camp Nou for the match against Alaves, which coincides with the club's 126th anniversary.

Barcelona has made adjustments to some details, such as some railings, at the request of the city council. Even if final approval is granted on Monday, necessary inspections of the Camp Nou stadium are still pending, complicating whether the stadium can open as scheduled for the game against Bilbao.
