Cuban said he would communicate regularly with the team s chairman & CEO & president but refused to discuss his relationship with Harrison

Recently, on the DLLS Mavs podcast, Mark Cuban, a small shareholder of the Mavericks, talked about his relationship with team chairman Patrick Dumont and the new leadership team.
Cuban said he had emailed NBA president Adam Xiao Hua in October 2022, more than a year before the sale was finally finalized, to inform him of his intention to sell.
The Mavericks' leadership has changed significantly since Cuban's decision, especially in business operations. Rick Wilts succeeded Hinter Marshall as CEO in January, and the team recently appointed Ethan Carson as the new president.
Cuban said he communicated regularly with Dumont, Wiltz and Carson, but did not mention a key member of the management: General Manager Nico Harrison. When asked if he communicated with Harrison the same level as Wilts and Carson, Cuban replied “No” and did not elaborate further.
